STRUTHERS -- Joe Kohler scattered six hits with seven strikeouts as the Astro Falcons shut out Rondinelli 7-0 in a Class B League game Wednesday at Cene Park.
Josh McKenney and Jesse D'Amico led Astros (11-4) with a pair of hits each and Adam Wigley added a triple. Kohler (4-0) lowered his ERA to 0.81.
Cory Collins took the loss for Rondinelli (10-5). He had seven strikeouts and only three of the seven runs he allowed were earned.
Rondinelli stranded 11 men on base.
Mink 5, Youngstown Express 4
Mink Financial moved to (9-6) with the win over the Express (3-12). Brett Grabman had a triple and a single and Jason Davis added a pair of singles.
Corey Vukovic (2-1) went 61/3 innings for the win. He had 11 strikeouts. Nick Durkin got the final out of the game for his second save.
R & amp; J Trucking 15, Roth 3
R & amp; J Trucking used a 10-run first inning to cruise to the win over Roth Brothers which tied them with Rondinelli for first place in the Goldstone Division (10-5).
Travis McCartney had three hits, including an inside-the-park two-run homer for R & amp; J. Matt Yarab, Joe Rosko, and Mike Welce had two hits apiece. Bill Sattler (2-0) had six strikeouts in the win.
Lorin Dickinson and Trent White hit doubles for Roth (2-13).
Wharmby Sports 6, Livi 4
Wharmby's pounded out 14 hits in the victory, keeping them tied with the Astro Falcons for first place in the Cene Division (11-4).
Lou Kopachy and Jake Gross had a double and single each to lead the Wharmby attack, with the double by Gross driving in a pair of runs in the four-run second inning.
Jim Jaskawak pitched 31/3 innings of five hit scoreless relief for the win, his first of the season.
For Livi Steel (8-7), Marc Rossi had a triple and a single and Manoli Pahoulis had two hits for Livi Steel (8-7).
Dave Sugar 7, Koch/Line Drive 6
Dan Allison's single scored the game winner as Dave Sugar Excavating rallied with four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Allison also had an RBI double for Sugar (7-8). Charlie Olenych had a triple for Koch/Line Drive (4-11).
