A summary of recent police activity in Austintown Township:

June 6

Criminal damage: A window was shot with a BB gun in the residential 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Attempted theft from auto: The dashboard of a vehicle was damaged in the residential 3000 block of Johnson Farm Court.

Theft from auto: A Pioneer AM-FM compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle in the residential 3000 block of Orchard Hill Drive.

Burglary: Thirty-five DVDs were stolen from Taco Bell, 851 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A box of checks was reported stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of New Road.

Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a residence in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Lost property: Lottery tickets were reported lost at Country Side Drive-Thru, 888 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Gasoline was reported stolen at 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft from auto: A CD player and changer were stolen from a vehicle at Gavo's, 3661 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Someone entered a residence in the 200 block of Third Street. Nothing was reported missing or disturbed.

June 7

Fireworks complaint: Fireworks were turned over to Austintown police and the Youngstown police bomb squad from a residence in the 1000 block of Celeste Circle.

Fraud: A resident in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue reported $398 stolen from a checking account.

Theft: $120 was stolen from Santisi's IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two men were arrested on theft charges at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft from auto: A spare tire was stolen from a new vehicle in the lot at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A dark green 1992 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

June 8

Recovered auto: A vehicle stolen in Warren was recovered in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: A maintenance building was entered and tools stolen in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Dumping complaint: Debris was dumped in the 100 block of Victoria Road.

Lost/stolen purse: A woman reported a green change purse missing at Dollar General, 1735 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering, structure: Tools were taken from a residence in the 200 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Criminal damage: The right front tire on a vehicle was slashed in the parking lot at Hillbrook Apartments, 552 S. Raccoon Road.

Auto theft: A 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from a driveway in the residential 300 block of DeHoff Drive.

June 9

Fraud: Someone placed charges on a victim's credit card in the residential 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Breaking and entering, structure: An unattached garage was entered through an unlocked door in the residential 5000 block of New Road.

Fraud: Someone attempted to cash a counterfeit check at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Attempted theft from auto: A window was pried on a vehicle at Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.

Recovered property: A silver girl's bicycle was recovered in the roadway near the residential 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Theft from auto: A radio was taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue.

Fraud: An item was purchased on a credit card in the residential 2000 block of Sprucewood Drive.

Fraud: Services from Ohio Edison were fraudulently obtained in the 4000 block of West-chester Drive.

Theft: More than 18 gallons of gasoline stolen from a BP station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

June 10

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at the Bottom Line Pub, 4903 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $25,000 in cash was stolen from the residential 1000 block of Yolanda Place.

Auto conversion: A 2004 Chevrolet Colorado Quad Cab was reported converted without authorization at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, 4908 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $12.59 in gasoline was stolen from a Sheetz station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A basketball backboard was damaged at Lynn Kirk Church, 4199 Kirk Road.

Suspicious person: An unknown male and female were following a victim in the 3000 block of Oakwood Ave.

Drug offense: A male suspect was taken to county jail after being arrested on a drug offense at Billys, 40 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal damage: A swimming pool light was damaged in the residential 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Burglary: A residence in the 100 block of North Edgehill Avenue was entered by unknown means, but nothing was taken.

June 11

Drug offense: A male suspect was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in the 80 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Drug offense: A suspect was arrested on a drug offense with criminal charge spending at state Route 46 and Seventy-six Drive.

Criminal damaging: An air-conditioning wire and a pipe were cut at Sleepy Hollow, 5860 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman was arrested on a theft charge at Wal-Mart.

Theft: Almost 13 gallons of gasoline were stolen from Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Drug offense: A woman in the 200 block of Westminster Drive confiscated a suspected crack pipe and brought it to Austintown police.

June 12

Attempted theft of auto: A window was damaged on a vehicle at Mojo's, 5423 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damage: A screen was damaged by an egg in the residential 400 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Recovered property: A wallet and its contents were recovered at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 11.

Criminal damage: Rocks were thrown at a home in the residential 4000 block of Timberbrook Drive.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from the 800 block of Compass West apartments.

Theft: $47.40 in food was stolen from the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Criminal damage: A vehicle was spray-painted in the residential 4000 block of Signature Circle.

Theft: A man was issued a summons after being accused of stealing $29.50 in gas at a Sheetz station.

Theft: A man in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive alleged his son stole the victim's .32-caliber automatic handgun.

Aggravated robbery: A victim was robbed by four males with clubs at Mahoning Avenue and Turner Road.

Attempted auto theft: A vent window was broken and the steering column damaged on a vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Theft: A silver boy's mountain bike was stolen from an apartment in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering, business: A wooden door and frame were damaged at No Limits, 10 Lexington Place.

Lost or stolen credit card: A National City Bank Visa card was reported lost or stolen at a BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft from auto: Jewelry and cash were stolen from a vehicle at the Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.
