XPoland Chapter 2520, AARP, will have a summer picnic at noon June 20 at the Poland United Methodist Church on Boardman-Poland Road. All members are asked to take a casserole or dessert and their own table setting and beverage. Hot dogs and buns will be provided by the club.
XA veteran will speak when Austintown Chapter 4339, AARP, meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Members may take canned peaches for the Rescue Mission. Tickets will be sold for $3 for the July 11 picnic to be held at 5 p.m. at Stacey Pavilion in Austintown Park. Members are to take casseroles, vegetables, salads and desserts, along with wrapped prizes for bingo.
