Boardman Park will have its Senior Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the community center. Cost is $1 for exercise, crafts, bingo and lunch in the park.

Lake Vista of Cortland, 303 N. Mecca St., Cortland, will have ventriloquist Don Taylor as guest speaker for Breakfast at the Lake at 10 a.m. Thursday. A light continental-style breakfast will be served. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Call (330) 638-2420 for more information.

SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, activities are as follows: Movie and luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 22 for a cost of $3, reservations required; card party-luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 for a cost of $5 per person, includes lunch, table prizes, 50-50 and raffle baskets, with cards furnished and reservations required for up to 16 tables; "Hairspray at the State Theater, Cleveland, June 25, bus leaves at 10:45 a.m. for 2 p.m. show and lunch stop in Solon, with two tickets still available for a cost of $85 each; coffee and more from noon to 1 p.m. June 29 with Dr. Karnavas from Advanced Podiatry talking about foot and ankle needs, diabetic wound care and shockwave therapy, and the Hearing Aid Center of Ohio giving free hearing tests, Bank One providing information on banking for seniors, Visiting Physicians providing free blood pressure tests, and Kelly Johnson, independent consultant, giving free spa treatments; ABC luncheon and entertainment from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 30, with Nancy Bottiglieri from Trail of Dreams providing music and dance, followed by five super games of bingo for a price of $5 per person, with reservations required; a motorcoach tour to the Southwest Red Canyon Lands, Sept 20 to Oct. 6 to see the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Santa Fe, Denver, the Cowboy Hall of Fame, and seven national parks for a cost of $1,950 per person, including 24 meals, entry fees, bus, motel and escort. Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has scheduled the following: Monday, bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting and computer classes at 10 a.m., blood pressure screening and computer class at noon and digital class at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, outing to Lake Milton Satellite and watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon, blood pressure screening at 12:30 p.m. and 500 cards and yoga at 1; Thursday, Watch Our Weight Support Group and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., Hugs & amp; Stitches Sewing Group and Boardman Satellite at 10, blood pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and line dancing at 1; and Friday, Sebring Fun Day at 10 a.m. and crafts at 12:30 p.m. The center has applications for the SBC Lifeline Ohio telephone discount program for $12.38 a month to eligible applicants. A picnic lunch and entertainment will be included with the unveiling of the quilt. Reservations are needed by June 14.
