A summary of recent criminal activities in Canfield City and Austintown Township:

CANFIELD

May 31

Property report: Money was stolen from a 7-Up machine at Decker Cycle, 410 W. Main St.

Money stolen: Cash was stolen from an Aquafina machine at Canfield Tire Service, 40 W. Main St.

AUSTINTOWN

May 30

Theft from auto: A man's wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: Jay's Hot Dogs, 4777 Mahoning Ave., was broken into and cash and laptops were taken. Entry was gained through the west doors.

Criminal damaging: A tarp was cut on a garage in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Breaking and Entering: A man was arrested on a charge of breaking into a residence in the 100 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

May 31

Theft from auto: Two prescription bottles containing pills were stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A cordless telephone and VCR were stolen from the Kidney Center, 139 Javit Court.

Theft: A man was arrested at Wal-Mart, 6000 Mahoning Ave. on a theft charge.

Theft: 200 Oxycodone tablets were stolen from Chipper's Lounge, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.

Breaking and entering: A fenced-in area was entered and items stolen from trucks at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Fuel was stolen from Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A fence was cut and aluminum taken at Youngstown Mirror, 3991 Henricks Road.

Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at Certified Oil, 825 Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at BP gas station, 3107 Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: A front door was forced open at a residence in the 300 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Forged check: A stolen check for $500 was cashed at Home Savings and Loan, 4529 Kirk Road.

Property damage: Improper land clearing resulted in poor drainage and damage to trees at Wedgewood Park and Lancaster Drive.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered in the 50 block of South Main Street.

June 1

Theft from auto: A purse was taken from a vehicle at Marc's, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Chains were stolen from a trailer in the 500 block of Wilcox Road.

June 2

Theft: A television and pictures were taken from a room at Econolodge, 54311/2 Seventy-Six Drive.

Criminal damaging: A steel post and chain were damaged in the 4000 block of New Road.

Fraud: A resident in the 3000 block of Rebecca Avenue reported that someone is using the resident's Internet user identification on eBay.

Theft from auto: A purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A BMX bicycle was stolen from the 3000 block of Evelyn Avenue.

June 3

Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen from a residence in the 20 block of Maple Drive.

Theft: $30 in cash was stolen from Consumer Support, 4586 Kirk Road.

Theft: $33 in fuel was stolen from Sheetz gas station.

Personal injury: A 5-year-old was bitten by a dog in the 4000 block of Darbyshire Court.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 5000 block of Pine Shadow Court.

Auto theft: A red 2005 Dodge Neon 1500 Quad cab without plates was stolen from Bob and Chuck Eddy's, 4850 Mahoning Ave.

June 4

Theft: A man was arrested on a theft charge at Giant Eagle.

Drug offense: A Youngstown woman was arrested at Seventy-Six Drive and State Route 46 on a drug abuse of marijuana charge.

Theft: A man was charged with theft of candy bars and resisting arrest at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal mischief: Roofing nails were found in a yard in the 5000 block of London Drive.

Personal injury: A summons was issued for a woman for having allowing a dog to be loose in the 500 block of South Turner Road.

June 5

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was placed in the county jail after being arrested at Oakwood Avenue at North Four Mile Run Road on charges of trafficking in cocaine, drug abuse and drug abuse paraphernalia.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested at state Route 46 and Interstate Boulevard on drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft from auto: Audiovox speakers, an amplifier and a crossover were stolen from a vehicle parked at an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A large azalea bush was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Belle Avenue.

Theft from auto: Compact discs were stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Paisley Avenue.
