55-PLUSMINERAL RIDGE

XMineral Ridge 55-Plus Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. A casserole lunch will be followed by the meeting and card games. Hosts will be Mary Galik, Lorna Ramsey, and Steve and Helen Rushan.

AARP 3104

XCanfield Chapter 3104, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will be held from noon to 1 p.m. An audiologist from the Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center will speak on senior hearing problems.

A few seats are available for the July 18-21 trip to Philadelphia-Lancaster, Pa. Full payment is due Monday. Reservations with deposit are being taken for an overnight mystery trip Sept. 22-23. A trip to Hawaii is planned for Oct. 24-31; a deposit of $300 is due at the time of reservation. Deposits are also being taken for New York City Rockettes on Nov. 16 in Pittsburgh. The next directors meeting will be held at 10 a.m. June 27 at the church.

AARP 3105

XStruthers Chapter 3105, AARP, will meet at 11 a.m. June 15 at The Embassy in Youngstown with Harold Milligan presiding. Cost is $9, and reservations should be mailed to LaVerne Cox, 241 E. Manor Ave., Struthers, OH 44471 by Wednesday.

GIRARD REAC 2172

XGirard REAC 2172 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Eagles Hall, Wilson Avenue.

LIBERTY

XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday in the Church Hill United Methodist Church fellowship hall. The Liberty firefighters will check blood pressures at 10:30 a.m., and the meeting will start at 11 with Wilda Clifton presiding. The program will be "U Jest" humorology and stress management by Shirley Lisk. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; beverage will be provided.

LOCAL 64

XRetirees of Local 64 Electricians will meet at noon Wednesday at Boardman Park Community Center.

MAHONING NATIONAL BANK

XMahoning National Bank Retirees will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnny's on Midlothian Boulevard.

MARTHA LUPSE

XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Jean Waters will lead devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. MOUNT CARMEL

XOur Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday following the noon Mass. Josephine McMillen will preside, and reports will be given by Caroline McCaffrey, Angie DelFlore and Louise Babbaro. Lunch will be served, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. There also will be a 50-50 drawing and bingo. Guests are welcome.

REAC 3298

XREAC 3298 will hold a luncheon meeting at 1 p.m. June 13 at the aerie on Raccoon Road with Melva Day presiding. Hosts will be Irene and Dom Petrella and Irene Galambossy. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and officers will be installed.

RETIRED POLICE, FIREMENAND WIDOWS

XA meeting of Retired Police, Firemen and Widows will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Brandywine Clubhouse. Plans for the upcoming picnic will be discussed.

ROYAL

XRoyal Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Monday at Boardman Park Community Center with John Alfona presiding. There are to be no early arrivals. Members will observe Father's Day, and there will also be games and prizes. Reservations will be taken for the July 11 picnic, which will include a catered lunch at noon and light supper at 4 p.m. Cost is $6.50.

SOAR 27-2, 27-6

XSteelworkers Retirees Local Union 1330 and 1331 will meet for a picnic at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sam Camens Center. Members are reminded to take their tickets.

ST. CYRIL

XSt. Cyril Seniors will meet after the 11:30 a.m. Mass Thursday. A catered lunch will be served at noon in the church hall. Reservations must be made by Monday. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and there will be a raffle and bingo.

ST. JOSEPH

XSt. Joseph Goldenagers of Austintown will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall with Evelyn Menaldi presiding. Betty Connors will read the thought of the day, and there will also be cards, bingo and a 50-50 raffle. Members are asked to take a dozen or more finger foods; cakes will be provided. Cards will be send to members by sunshine chairman Dorothy Myers.

ST. ROSE

XSt. Rose Senior Parishioners will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the church hall after the officers meet at 11:30 a.m. Father of the Year will be chosen, pizza will be served, and bingo will be played. Vickie Putigano and Angie Babigoff will serve on the committee. Tickets for the annual picnic to be held July 14 in Tod Park will be sold at the meeting. The cost for the catered lunch is $8.50.

SAXON

XSaxon Retirees will meet at noon Thursday in the club ballroom on Meridian Road. Cost of the chicken dinner is $7. Reservations or cancellations are due this evening by calling Curt and Alice Callahan at (330) 759-0251 or Tillie Stefanik at (330) 792-3120.

SEARS MEN

XSears Men Retirees will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Yankee Kitchen in Boardman.

TRUSCON

XRetirees of Truscon LTV will have a noon luncheon and meeting Tuesday at St. George Croation Home, 3200 Vestal Road. Guests are welcome. Reservations are to be made with Ted Ostovitz at (330) 743-0647, Paul Miller at (330) 788-9220 or Pete Balasko (330) 758-1864.

YSU FREETIMERS

XYoungstown State University Retirees' breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny's in Boardman. All YSU retirees and friends are welcome.

XUpcoming activities for senior citizens organizations are published Sundays. Please submit information to the Society Department by noon Thursday.
