Kerrs mark 50th with reception and later Mass
XPOLAND -- A dinner reception June 4 at St. Luke Banquet Hall in Boardman marked the 50th wedding anniversary of William T. and MaryLou Kerr, 1816 Lynn Mar Ave.
Hosting the event were four of the couple's five children and spouses, Terry and Karen Householder of Warren, Glenn and Kathleen Kerr of Canton, Greg and Valerie Kerr of Masury and William Kerr Jr. of Boardman.
They also have a son, Gary Kerr of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and six grandchildren.
The celebration will continue June 12 with a morning Mass at St. Luke Church.
Mr. Kerr and the former MaryLou Mauerman were married June 12, 1955, at St. Dominic Church, Youngstown.
He is retired from LTV Steel Corp., where he was a crane operator, and Stambaugh's. He served from 1954 to 1957 with the 11th Army Airborne and is a member of White Memorial Church, Struthers.
Mrs. Kerr is retired from Mahoning National Bank, where she was a teller. She is a charter member of St. Luke's.
