GIRARD -- The well-child immunization clinic will be held at noon June 12 in the Girard Health Department located in the City Building. The clinic is offered free of charge to Girard City children. Dr. James J. Enyeart, medicaldDirector, conducts the examinations. Parents must bring a copy of the child's immunization record. A parent or guardian must accompany children under the age 18. Parents must pre-register. Call the Health Department, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at (330) 545-6048.

A Brigham Young University study found that girls as young as 3 or 4 will use manipulation and peer pressure to get what they want. The study in the current issue of the journal Early Education and Development is the first to link relational aggression and social status in preschoolers.
