ATHLETIC GROUPS

XMcDonald Baseball Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

AUXILIARIES

XGirard K. of C. Women Council 2935 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the K. of C. Hall, 122 S. State St.

XITAM Post 3 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the clubrooms. Josephine Croutch will preside, and Diane Endress and Margaret McBride will serve as hostesses.

CLASSES

XCampbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny's restaurant, Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited. For more information, call Darlene Zaba at (330) 755-0365 or Hazel Barrett at (330) 793-0694.

XThe Rayen School Class of 1955 will meet at noon Saturday at West Fork Roadhouse in Liberty. Plans will be made for the 50th class reunion to be held Sept. 17. For more information call (330) 757-4490 or (330) 542-0721.

XWoodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny's restaurant in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes are also welcome. No reservations are needed.

CLUBS

XAustintown Homemakers Extension Club will meet for a picnic at 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church. Members are asked to take their assigned refreshments and table service.

XPoland Women's Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the home of Janie James, 3024 Olde Winter Trail. Installation of officers will be held. Hostesses will be Janie James, Pat Granitto, Carol Morris, Nance Varley, Rosemary Yerian and Shirley Williams.

XYoungstown Mothers of Twins Club will hold its installation banquet Wednesday in Boardman Park. Cost is $13 per person. For further information or to make a reservation, call the event hostess, Betsy Pallo, at (330) 547-2015.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

XFriends of the Boardman Library will meet at 1:30 p.m. June 13 for their annual summer luncheon at the Harvest Buffet and Grill, in the Boardman Plaza, 267 Boardman-Canfield Road. An international buffet will be offered at a cost of $6.25. Reservations are due by June 10 and may be made by mailing a check, payable to Friends of the Boardman Library, to Nancy Dunn, 1474 Walker Mill Road, Poland, Ohio, 44514. For information regarding the luncheon, call (330) 757-9392. The group will continue to collect gently used books throughout the summer on the first and third Saturday of each month.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

XCourt Bishop James McFadden 1650, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will hold its annual picnic and regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. June 23 at Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in Boardman Park. Guests are welcome. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish and their own table setting. Meat and rolls will be provided. Twenty-five- and fifty-year pins will be awarded, and entertainment will be bingo. Reservations should be made by June 16 by calling the hostess, Noreen McGiffin, at (330) 757-2067. Anyone interested in joining the court should call regent Joann Reilley at (330) 448-0042.

XSt. Rose Church Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Scenna's Family Restaurant, 1901 N. State St.

XGirard-Liberty Rotary will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Armando's Restaurant, 3807 Belmont Ave.

SINGLES

XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. XAlzheimer Assistance and Referral Network has scheduled the following support group meetings: Boardman: second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at St. Charles Church, Boardman-Canfield Road, park in back and enter main doors; Boardman: the fourth Monday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Easter Seals Office, 721 Boardman-Poland Road, park in back or side; Canfield: third Friday of the month at 10 a.m. at Canfield Christian Church, 123 Broad St., park in back; Cornersburg: second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road, park in back or side; Girard: third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at Girard Public Library, 105 E. XFred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Hosts for the meeting will be Robert and Bona Enyeart. The program will be a short videotape from the "Parkinson Care Series" with discussion and questions to follow. The annual catered indoor picnic will be at 2 p.m. July 14. XMahoning Valley New Voice Club, a support group for laryngectomees and their families and friends, will hold its next meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center, located in the Beeghly Medical Park, 6614 Southern Blvd. The group will be holding a bake sale at the Austintown Wal-Mart July 3. XMultiple Sclerosis Services Agency Mahoning County Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Austin Woods Health Care Center, 4780 Kirk Road, Austintown.
