Program will teach process of developing products
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Regional Chamber, CAMP Inc. and TechSolve Inc. will sponsor a product-development program for manufacturers from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. June 9 at the Byzantine Center at the Grove on Shady Run Road. The program, "Engine for Growth," will teach product-development from idea to launch. All manufacturers are encouraged to attend the event, which is $20 for Regional Chamber members and $25 for prospective members. Group launches boycott
DETROIT -- A conservative Christian group launched a boycott against Ford Motor Co. Tuesday, saying the second-largest U.S. automaker has given thousands of dollars to gay rights groups, offers benefits to same-sex couples and actively recruits gay employees. Ford responded that it respects its customers and employees. General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp. also provide benefits for same-sex partners.
