Anniversary event held at church to honor Mr. and Mrs. Donald Haddle

XYOUNGSTOWN -- First Covenant Church was the setting July 2 as friends and relatives gathered to honor Mr. and Mrs. Donald Haddle, 270 E. Pasadena Ave., on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts were the couple's children and their spouses, Linda and Jim Uscianowski and James and Becky Haddle, all of Boardman, and Dean and Marilyn Haddle of Austintown. Completing the family circle are five grandchildren.

Mrs. Haddle, the former Betty Zetterquist, was employed in the shoe department at McKelvey's prior to her marriage.

Mr. Haddle was a delivery truck driver with Anderson Delivery Service until the firm closed. Afterward he was employed in the maintenance department at Boardman Community Care Nursing Home in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1999.

The couple are members of Gibson Heights Second United Presbyterian Church, where Mrs. Haddle is also a member of the Ladies Guild.
