XBOARDMAN -- Daryl Keith Shears and his bride, the former Lisa Ann Bokanovich, were honored at a reception at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown following their wedding June 25 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The daughter of Barry and Patricia Bokanovich, 9380 Stratton Road, Salem, and the late Shirley Bokanovich, and the son A. Dale Shears, 400 Sexton St., Struthers, and the late Susan L. Shears, exchanged nuptial vows during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. William Wolfgang.
The couple honeymooned at Nassau in the Bahamas and live at 2896 S. Meridian Road, Austintown.
The bride's diamond-white gown was trimmed with beading.
Lavender gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Megan Estok, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Smith and Michelle Alleman, the bride's stepsisters, and Rebecca Eliser. Flower girl was Bella Eliser.
Sam Long served as best man, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Brian Bokanovich, and the groom's nephews, Derek and Brandon Dodds.
The bride works in data entry at Youngstown Pipe and Supply Co. in Youngstown and is also employed by Fashion Bug in Boardman.
The groom is an assistant plant manager with Tri-Dim Corp. in Boardman.
