There will a boccie tournament, bands and bingo.
GIRARD -- The eighth annual Summer Festival of St. Rose Church will be July 28-31 on the church grounds, 48 E. Main St.
Youth Night with disc jockey Chuck Pusin, games and food will be from 7 to 11 p.m. July 28 in the school gym.
The festival will feature music, bingo, games, food, a dunking booth, rides, a climbing wall, raffles, boccie and music.

Food Court tickets are available at 10 percent off during presale at the church rectory or after Sunday masses up to July 24.
Regular priced tickets will cost $1, $5, $10 and $20. The discount prices for advance sale tickets are 90 cents, $4.50, $9 and $18.
The deadline for purchase of presale tickets is July 28. The boccie tournament will be on July 29, 30 and 31. Cost is $25 per team.

The festival hours will be noon to 11 p.m. July 29-31, with a polka Mass at 4 p.m. July 30.
Bingo can be played in the air conditioned hall at St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St. 6 to 11 p.m. July 29; 5 to 11 p.m. July 30; and 2 to 11 p.m. July 31. Featured bands and the times they play are:
July 29: 2 p.m. First Degree.
July 30, 2 p.m. Power of Praise; 6 p.m. Del Rezek.
July 31: 2 p.m. The Girard Community Band; 6 p.m. Al Hreno.
A money raffle and Chinese auction is scheduled for July 31 at 11 p.m. The grand prize cash drawing will be $5,000; second place will be $1,000; and third place will be $500.
The cash raffle tickets can be purchased in advance at the rectory or on the grounds during the festival for $1 a ticket or $5 for six.
The Chinese auction will feature different theme baskets including items donated from local businesses. Baskets will be on display during the festival, and bids can be placed in containers in front of each gift basket. The winners of baskets will be announced at 11 p.m. July 31 in conjunction with the cash raffle drawing.
The festival raises funds for the needs of the parish and is chaired by associate pastor the Rev. Pete Haladej. Church Pastor is the Rev. James Korda.
