A summary of recent criminal activity in Hubbard and Girard:
July 10
Theft: An employee at Hubbard Mini Mart, 175 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, reported two Youngstown women drove away without paying for their gasoline.
Criminal mischief: A woman returned from vacation to her residence in the 500 block of Dorchester Drive and found someone had tossed eggs at the home.
July 11
Theft: A woman reported prescription medications stolen from her home in the 200 block of Christian Avenue.
Burglary: A woman discovered her residence in the 700 block of Taylor Street was burglarized, and that someone was cashing checks from her account.
Attempted breaking and entering: A worker for Harding Park, 249 Roosevelt Drive, noticed someone tried to kick in a door to a shed.
July 12
Burglary: While checking on a woman in the 300 block of East Liberty Street, police say they discovered a man, 37, in her residence and in violation of a protection order. He was arrested.
Assault: Officers arrested a Hubbard man after a Youngstown man told police someone assaulted the victim and pulled a gun on him.
Assault: A woman in the 300 block of East Liberty Street alleged her former husband assaulted her.
July 13
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 200 block of Princeton Avenue noticed a hole in a bedroom window, caused by a BB.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Youngstown-Hubbard Road said someone walked into her back yard and took her black dog.
