Keyeses to mark 50th anniversary in California
XWINDSOR, Calif. -- Wendall and Loretta Keyes, 9439 Victoria Lane, will mark their golden wedding anniversary Aug. 6.
Mr. Keyes and the former Loretta Racick of Girard were married Aug. 6, 1955, on the 32nd wedding anniversary of her parents, Mollie and Louis Racick, then also of Girard.
Mrs. Keyes, who was Girard's 1953 sesquicentennial queen, worked as a ticket agent for United Air Lines at Youngstown Municipal Airport when Mr. Keyes, an Air Force first lieutenant, was stationed at Youngstown Air Base. They moved to California in 1962, where Mrs. Keyes teaches piano and plays at church and Mr. Keyes retired from California Steel, where he was an engineer.
Their family includes their daughter and son-in-law, Kaelynn and Duane Sieg, son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Pam Keyes, and two grandchildren.
