TRAVELING

Ohio Magic 16-younger team -- defeated the Ohio Jaguars 7-2 to win the annual College Showcase at Boardman's Fields of Dreams. The Magic also defeated the Explosion, Ohio Crush and Ohio Lightning. Brittany Danilov tossed a complete game four-hitter in the title game. Kelsey Ford doubled and singled, Katie Hawkins doubled and singled, Jamie Amero doubled and Danilov singled twice for the Magic.

Ohio Stars 16-younger team -- has qualified for the Pony National Tournament which will be at the Thunderplex Complex in Vienna from July 25-30. The tournament will have 150 to 200 teams from the United States and Canada.

Ohio Stars (22-7 overall) has competed in five qualifying tournaments and won three championships while placing third in another. Team members are: Amanda Moliterno (Canfield), Krystal Rodriguez (Poland), Angelica Pugh (Labrae), Rachel Melewski (Canfield), Tricia Bettura (Canfield) Jenna Medina (Poland), Autumn Carter (North Lima), Julia Johnston (Poland) Lauren Sulick (Canfield), Ciera Urichich (Poland) and Staci Balkan (Austintown Fitch).
