LISBON -- Columbiana County leaders and interested residents are invited to attend a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to organize the development of a comprehensive land use plan for Columbiana County.
The meeting, taking place at Community Action Agency, 788 Lincole Place, will build upon initiatives begun during a session on June 14, to identify issues and leadership to move the land use planning process forward.
Participants at Tuesday's meeting will choose focus areas on which work will begin and will identify leaders who will be asked to lead the process.
Future meetings will provide training and orientation for people working on the land use planning process, including conducting focus group meetings, writing parts of the comprehensive land use plan, and finding funding and other resources needed for the land use plan.
For more information and to reserve a spot at the meeting, contact Ernest Oelker at the Ohio State University Extension at (330) 424-7291.
