Published: Tue, July 12, 2005 @ 12:00 a.m.

AUSTINTOWN -- Police are investigating the robbery of a Mahoning Avenue gas station over the weekend.

An employee at BP told police that a black man entered the business about 9:45 a.m. Saturday, said he had a gun and ordered the employee to empty the cash register.

The employee complied and the man ordered him to lie on the floor behind the counter. The man fled westbound on Mahoning Avenue in a gold Chrysler Concorde.
