Published: Tue, July 12, 2005 @ 12:00 a.m.

YOUNGSTOWN -- A 45-year-old Youngstown man was arrested Sunday after police found him eating dinner on the couch of a house he is accused of ransacking.

Gregory Young of Cordova Avenue faces charges of one felony count of burglary and three misdemeanor charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and two active warrants out of Youngstown.

According to the report, a police officer saw Young hide a crack pipe between couch cushions as officers entered the house on Catalina Avenue. Young was eating a small plate of food and sat up on the couch when police walked in the room, the report said.

The owner of the home also reported missing a doll collection and set of golf clubs, as well as a jar of change.

A total bond of $80,000 was set for Young, who prosecutors said has 21 previous charges of breaking and entering and also faces two previous warrants.
