Dr. Reena Mehra, Dr. Thomas Gildea plan double ceremonies in Cleveland
XThe parents of Dr. Reena Mehra and Dr. Thomas Gildea, both of Cleveland, are announcing the couple's engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Sneh and Jagdish Mehra of Youngstown. The prospective groom is a son of Susan and Robert J. Hankey of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Invitations will be issued for the Aug. 13 church and Indian ceremonies, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and Renaissance Place, respectively, and reception to follow at Renaissance Place, all in Cleveland.
Dr. Mehra is a physician in the divisions of pulmonary and critical care medicine and clinical epidemiology at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. She served several fellowships at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She earned a combined bachelor/medical degree at Youngstown State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, and a master's degree in clinical research through CWRU's scholars program.
Dr. Gildea is on the medical staff of Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the department of pulmonary, allergy and critical care medicine and transplant center after serving as chief resident of internal medicine at Yale School of Medicine and completing a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. He earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Scranton and a medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
