Tri-T Pony (ages 13-14)

Austintown Home Savings 7, Howland Black 4

Austintown Home Savings 13, Canfield Allison Waste Disposal 10 -- In a league semifinal, Chris Miller pitched five innings of one-hit baseball. Canfield scored seven times in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game and force extra innings. Shane Staser's strong defensive play in left field preserved the tie. Tom Learn, Jon Deamrois and Jordan Endsley scored in the eighth inning on hits by Eddie Kubic and Keynon Jones. For Canfield, P.J. Sickle's two hits included a bases-loaded triple. He scored the tying run on a passed ball. Mark Pelini's two hits included a double and he scored twice. Tim Calhoun had a hit and scored twice.

Austintown Home Savings 8, West Branch Terry's Tire Town/Mack Trailer 6 -- In the league championship game, Luke Hammond and Jordan Endsley combined for the pitching win, allowing six hits and striking out six batters. Tom Learn and Luke Hamond had three hits apiece. Jordan Endsley, Eddie Kubic and Keynon Jones each had two hits. For West Branch, Seth Guy tripled, Mickey Manser doubled and Tyler Strawser, Michael Smith, Jeffery Deckerd and Jake Gonci had hits.

Tri-T Colt (ages 15-17)

Austintown Greenwood Chevrolet 6, Austintown Paper 5 -- Winning pitcher Adam Sterling pitched a complete game, allowing five hits with eight strikeouts. Tom DeToro's three hits drove in two runs while Michael Lyden had two hits, scored a run and drove in another. For Paper, Mike Rose had two RBIs.

Austintown Sweeney Chevrolet 14, Boardman Mayo & amp; Orvets 0 -- Jake Volsko, Chad Burbrink and Vince Testa each had three hits and Marty Chance doubled as Sweeney won for the 18th time. Tony Sferra and Matt Snovak had hits for Boardman. Austintown finished the season with an 18-4 record.

Babe Ruth (ages 14-15)

Line Drive 8, Joe Koch Realty 3 -- After yielding three runs in the first inning, Line Drive came back and scored eight unanswered runs to advance to the Youngstown Babe Ruth finals. Line Drive was led by Cory Hill who pitched the final four innings of scoreless relief.

Astro Falcons 5, Rondinelli 2 -- Astro Falcons eliminated Rondinelli in the third and deciding game of the Youngstown Babe Ruth semifinals. Trent Vallinger pitched five shutout innings and gave up only four hits to earn the victory. Jared Turocy came on in relief for the final two outs to save the victory. Mike Kelly had two hits for Astro Falcons. Brian Visingardi had a triple driving in the go-ahead run. Jaymee Shepard led Rondinelli with a double.

Astro Falcons 8, Line Drive 6 -- In Game 1 of the Championship Series, Shane Wagner pitched four innings of relief to pick up the win. Paul Cene led the Falcons with three hits. Phil Woods, Tom Cheslik, Trent Vallinger and Jared Turocy each had two hits. Bill Cupler's bases-loaded pinch hit in the seventh inning put the Falcons ahead. Scott Smith had three RBIs for Line Drive.

Babe Ruth (age 13)

Sluggers 8, Rondinelli 5

Sluggers 4, Rondinelli 1 -- Sluggers swept the 13-year-old Babe Ruth Championship Series.
