The county commissioners also:

Heard a presentation from Falkon Technologies Inc. about an Internet television enterprise which began on Memorial Day. Falkon representatives said live events in and around the Youngstown area can been seen online at thenew.tv, the company Web site. Youngstown City Council meetings can be seen now and county commissioners' meetings also will be broadcast online.

Heard a presentation from Richard Ouzounian, director of Western Reserve Film Commission, about the Hollywood film "Walker Payne," that is being shot in the Mahoning Valley this weekend. Ouzounian said film crews will be here about five days and the economic impact for area businesses such as restaurants and hotels will be about $1 million. Ouzounian also asked the commissioners to fully fund the film commission. He said he and his wife and some private resources primarily have financed the commission up to now. He said getting the film shot here shows how important a film commission is to the county's overall economic development.
