Ryan Myers earned the save, getting out of a jam with the tying run at third in the top of the seventh.
Lonnie McQueen paced Mink with a single and a double, while Kevin Lee had an RBI double and Chris Pechalk and Brett Grabman had RBI singles.
R & amp; J only had five hits in the game, but they were all for extra bases.
Losing pitcher Joe Fox had an inside the park home run in the third, and tossed a complete game in defeat.
He had eight strikeouts and allowed three earned runs.
Ed Rohan and Joe Rosko had back-to-back doubles in the fourth for the second R & amp; J run, and Rohan drove home R & amp; J's third run with a triple, and scored the last on a sacrifice fly by Rosko.
Mink will face either Astro Falcons or Rondinelli Tuxedo in the next round beginning Wednesday.

Tony Pozega hit a two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the seventh to cap a four run rally for Livi Steel, which evened the series.

In game one of the series played Sunday, Wharmby scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
The game was a pitching duel between Jake Abbott of Livi and Tom Popadak of Wharmby.
Popadak went the first 62/3 innings allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits.

Abbott tossed a complete game, allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits.
He had seven strikeouts.
Stephen Hermann had a double and a single for Livi, while Lou Kopachy had a double and a single for Wharmby.

Cory Johnson had two singles, while C. David Schafer added a single and a double for Wolf.
