Live music will be provided, and the museum will be open for informal touring.
The event will then progress across Wick Avenue to the McDonough Museum of Arts, where a silent auction and Chinese raffle will be held featuring local arts, crafts and assorted items. In addition, dessert will be served with light beverages and a cash bar.
Tickets are $20 per person, or $25 which includes MVHS membership, and can be purchased by calling the MVHS at (330) 743-2589 or e-mailing email@example.com.
The Young Leaders Advisory Board was established within the Mahoning Valley Historical Society in 2002 to assist in developing a membership base focused on people 21 to 45. Its goal is to engage a new generation within the community, increase general awareness of the historical society and participation in its activities, events and programs, and develop a future leadership of the society.
Although the target audience of YLAB is young, people of all ages are encouraged to attend.
