A grand jury indicted Steven J. Karsnak 39, of West Middlesex, Pa., on a charge of escape. Karsnak was the first inmate to escape from the Ohio State Penitentiary supermax prison in Youngstown on May 3. He ran away from a corrections officer while on his way back to the prison's minimum-security camp. Authorities captured him on Castalia Avenue on the city's East Side about an hour after his escape. Rex G. Curtis, 46, Argo Street, Youngstown; driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Maria Betancourt, 46, Hilton Avenue, Youngstown; theft.
Gregory Vanartsdalen, 26, Hadley, Pa.; heroin possession.

Dana Wallace, 23, West LaClede Avenue, Youngstown; aggravated burglary, intimidation of a victim in an criminal case and menacing by stalking.
Brandon Liggens, 25, East Myrtle Avenue, Youngstown; illegal possession of weapons, cocaine possession, carrying concealed weapons, improperly handing a firearm in a motor vehicle and firearm and forfeiture specifications.
William T. Jones, 44, West LaClede Avenue, Youngstown; aggravated robbery with a firearm specification and receiving stolen property.
John M. Perdue, 24, Plazaview Court, Youngstown; cocaine possession (two counts), illegal possession of weapons, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Rodney Clay, 31, Chicago Avenue, Youngstown; kidnapping, felonious assault and domestic violence.
Jose M. Vega, 45, South Truesdale Avenue, Youngstown; drug possession (two counts) with a forfeiture specification and illegal possession of a weapon.
David Vasvari, 28, Cover Drive, Poland; felonious assault (two counts).
