XBOARDMAN -- Jamaica was the honeymoon destination of Bryon Kolat and his bride, the former Jennifer Sullivan, following their May 28 wedding at Boardman Park and a reception afterward at The Embassy in Youngstown.
The Rev. Aaron Newell presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of John and Beverly Sullivan, 340 Indianola Road, and the son of Mary Kolat, 24 Delaware Ave., Poland.
The bride wore a white strapless gown trimmed with beads.
Wearing black and white gowns were the honor attendant, Shannon Burns of Deerfield, and the bridesmaids, Holly Sullivan of Boardman, Amber Smith of Youngstown, Kelly Kolat of Boardman, the groom's sister, and Shaun Sullivan of Boardman, the bride's sister. Breanna Clinton of Coitsville was the flower girl.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Rusty Kolat of Leetonia, and groomsmen were Mike Kennedy of Struthers, the groom's cousin, and Rob Smith of Youngstown, Jason Tusinac of Struthers and Jon Ragan of Austintown. Ring bearer was Mike Kennedy of Struthers.
The bride is pursuing a degree in photography at Youngstown State University and is working at Target in Boardman. The groom is employed at Flynn's Tire in Kent.
