TODAY

XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners, $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni, $5; homemade stuffed cabbage, $5.95; and pork chop dinners, $7.95. Meals will include salad, a side dish of potato or pasta, and bread. Sandwiches for $2.50 and a children's menu will be available. For carryouts call (330) 550-6268.

THURSDAY

XA free luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave.

XThe Croatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature a choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the club's building fund.

XA community luncheon will be served from noon to 1 p.m. at Western Reserve Baptist Church, 8590 Hitchcock Road, Boardman. A freewill donation will be accepted. The menu will consist of vegetable soup, toasted cheese sandwiches and dessert.

FRIDAY

Patrons will have the choice of two side dishes. Also available will be all-you-can-eat spaghetti with two meatballs or rigatoni for $5. XHoly Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.

XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi and hot pirogi lunches. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $4 for a dozen pirogi.

XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. The menu also will feature a choice of french fries, haluski or macaroni and cheese. Carryouts will be available. For information call (330) 534-9775.

XNational Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. The menu will feature baked or fried fish, a cook's choice fish or 21-piece shrimp, and a choice of hot foods and salad. Dessert also is included along with coffee, tea or punch. XPotato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order call (330) 799-0084 from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Cost is $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. This will be the last week before the price increases to $4 a dozen.

XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

XPotato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.

XSt. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8:30 a.m. and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.

XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Youngstown, will sell sweet cabbage or potato pirogi for walk-in sales from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown.

XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday.

SATURDAY

XFirst Baptist Church, corner of Eastland Avenue and Surrey Road S.E., Warren, will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets for adults are $6 and $3 for children 3 to 10; those under 3 may eat free. For carryout orders call (330) 369-5432. Proceeds will benefit the Tsunami Relief Fund.

XAn all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be served at North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, from 7 to 11 a.m. Items will include eggs, pancakes, potatoes, sausage, toast, fruits, cereal, juice and coffee. For more information call the church at (330) 549-2333.

XQueen of the Holy Rosary Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, will serve a creamed chicken on biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.50 for adults, $3.25 for children 6 to 12 and free to those 5 and under. The menu will include mashed potatoes, coleslaw, green beans, applesauce, cranberry sauce, dessert and beverage.

XStruthers United Methodist Church, 33 Sexton St., will serve a creamed chicken over biscuits dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6.50 for adults and $3.25 for children, and will be sold at the door. Carryouts will be available. Proceeds will benefit church ministries.

SUNDAY

XCapt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 may eat for free. Carryouts will be available to patrons providing their own containers.

XCroatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will serve homemade chicken soup and baked half chicken dinners from noon to 4 p.m. The menu will also include salad, potato, vegetable, bread and butter, dessert and coffee or tea. Reservations are limited to 300; call Frances Piersante at (330) 792-5414 or the Croatian Home at (330) 799-0914 or (330) 270-9056. Cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children 12 and under. A bake sale will be held during the dinner.

XGirard K. of C. Council 2935 Auxiliary will hold a spaghetti dinner from 1 to 5 p.m. at the K. of C. Hall, 122 S. State St. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children 4 to 8. Take your own containers for takeout orders.

XA benefit spaghetti from noon to 5 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Marcy Church Social Hall, 4490 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will be held by the church parish council to benefit Anthony Roberts, an Austintown resident who has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia. Tickets are $6; children under 5 eat free. A Chinese auction will also be featured. Those unable to attend may send donations to the Anthony Roberts account at Associated Schools Credit Union, 1690 S. Niles-Canfield Road, Austintown, Ohio 44515.

XAn all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, corner of Midlothian and Southern boulevards. XA Swiss steak or chicken dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus parish hall, corner of Cameron and Gibson avenues, Youngstown. The menu will also include mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 12. Takeouts will be available. XA breakfast brunch at St. James the Apostle Church, Route 422 West, New Bedford, Pa., will be served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church social hall by the men's group. XYoungstown American Hungarian Club is taking orders for Hungarian hurka until Feb. 6 at (330) 799-7008. Cost is $3 a pound, and orders can be picked up from 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 12 at the club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown.
