Mills' 13 points lead Wilson to victory

YOUNGSTOWN -- Melissa Mills scored 13 points and Dapree Bloxson added 12, as Woodrow Wilson High defeated Campbell Memorial 49-43 in a girls basketball game Monday night.

Bethany Kotapish had eight assists for the Redmen (2-16).

Tim'Aira Gandy scored 13 points and Maria Rohan added 11 to lead Campbell (2-13).

Mooney 50, East Liverpool 23

YOUNGSTOWN -- Amber Bodrick finished with game highs of 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead Mooney.

The Cardinals (7-6) led 28-10 at halftime. Dana Palazzo had three steals for Mooney.

Cat Ammon scored seven points for East Liverpool (6-10).

Boardman 62,Massillon Jackson 30

BOARDMAN -- Emily Hayes scored 24 points to lead Boardman in a Federal League game.

Jessica Moore and April Melquist added 15 points each for the Spartans (11-2, 6-1 FL), who led 22-2 after the first quarter.

Taylor Harting scored eight points for Jackson (0-14, 0-7), which will return to Boardman tonight for the first round of the Federal League tournament.

Salem 57, Niles 26

SALEM -- Sarah Hamilton scored 15 points as Salem remained unbeaten.

Twelve players scored for the Quakers (14-0, 8-0 Metro Athletic Conference). Meredith Miles had seven points and seven rebounds. Vanessa Kelly also scored seven points.

Kelly Leonard had 11 points and five rebounds for Niles (1-13, 0-7).

Springfield 75, Jackson-Milton 31

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Lindsay Johnson scored 19 points to lead Springfield in an Inter-County League game.

The Tigers (12-3, 7-1 ICL) outscored the Bluejays 32-9 in the second period to lead 41-16 at halftime.

Angelina Fiumara added 17 points, five steals and nine rebounds for Springfield.

Jessica Balent and Carrie Fiol scored nine points each for Jackson-Milton (6-10, 1-7).

South Range 58, Mineral Ridge 43

NORTH LIMA -- Michelle Pingley tossed in 17 points to lead South Range.

Heather Stacy added 14 for the Raiders (6-10, 3-5 ICL), who led 22-8 after one quarter. Cindy Schuler scored 11 points.

Mineral Ridge (2-14, 0-8) was led by Abby Kiger and Rachel Siler, who each scored 16 points.

Crestview 59, Southern 31

NEW WATERFORD -- Elyse Mongillo and Brianne Phillis scored 13 points each for Crestview in a Tri-County League game.

Phillis also had six rebounds and three assists. Mongillo had five assists and five steals for the Rebels (10-7, 8-3 TCL). Pat Scott had five rebounds.

Southern was led by Emily Ramsey, with 10 points.

Lisbon 53, Leetonia 36

LISBON -- Kim Davis had 14 points and eight rebounds to lead Lisbon.

Samantha Dailey added 13 points -- she was 6-for-6 at the foul line -- and five rebounds for the Blue Devils (11-6, 7-4 TCL). Caitlin Glenn finished with 10 points and Emily South had five steals and two assists.

Mallory Valentine led Leetonia with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Allison Summers added eight points and 10 rebounds.
