AARP 4545

XBoardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 3 at the Holiday Inn South, McKay Court, Boardman, with Elmer Haidle presiding. The menu choices are stuffed pork chop and baked haddock. Cost is $12.50, and reservations must be made by Thursday by sending a check indicating menu choice to Lois Mitchell, 7007 Clingan Road No. 13, Poland, Ohio 44514, or call (330) 707-0554. Historical slides of Youngstown will be shown by Charles Kelso, and anniversaries and birthdays will be observed. Dues will be collected. New members are welcome.

BROWNLEE WOODS

XBrownlee Woods Seniors will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Community United Church of Christ, corner of Sheridan Avenue and Midlothian Boulevard, for crafts and cards. New members are welcome.

CAMPBELL

XCampbell Senior Citizens will meet from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 1 at The Oak View in Struthers. Blood pressures will be taken from 12:15 to 12:45 a.m., and a presentation will be given by representatives of Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services. Lunch will be served at 2 p.m. followed by table games. Current and former residents of the city of Campbell and their spouses are welcome to join; dues will be collected. Call Kay Shabella at (330) 755-0459 by Thursday for reservations or cancellations.

A trip is being planned to Seneca Allegheny Casino in Salamanca, N.Y., on Feb. 21. Call Lucy Hames at (330) 746-7355 for reservations or information.

COMMERCIAL INTERTECH

XRetirees of Commercial Intertech will meet at noon Tuesday at the Sam Camens Center with Lou Pizzuto presiding. Lunch will be served, and hostesses will be Roberta Shick and Eve Bennett. All retirees are welcome.

ERIE RAILROAD

XErie Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Lucianno's Restaurant, 1732 Raccoon Road, Austintown. After lunch there will be reports on the health and welfare of railroad retirees. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. All railroad retirees are welcome. Membership is open.

GIRARD

XA meeting of Girard Senior Citizens will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. Members should take a sack lunch, and dues of $7 will be collected. Guest speaker will be Sister Jean of the Ecumenical Center; canned goods or paper products will be collected for her center.

HOLY NAME

XThe next meeting of Holy Name Seniors will be held Feb. 27. There will be no January meeting.

LIBERTY

XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church Hill United Methodist Church fellowship hall with Naomi Tremba presiding. Hostesses will be Patty DeMas, Grace Prystash and Helen Minnick. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Nick and Nancy Corano will entertain with "Quija, The Talking Cockatoo."

MARTHA LUPSE

XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Nancy DeRose will lead devotions, and a pizza party will be held at noon. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. PERI 18

XMahoning County Chapter 18 of Public Employee Retirees Inc. will meet Feb. 1 at the Italian American Veterans Centre. Lunch will be served at noon. The menu will consist of pasta and meatballs, baked chicken, tossed salad, vegetable, roll and butter, cherry pie and beverage. Cost of $7 is payable at the door. Speaker will be Atty. Albert J. Ortenzio, who specializes in probate law, on the topic "Living Wills, Inheritances and Taxation." Dues are now payable.

RETIRED RNS

XA meeting of the Retired RNs will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church on Canfield Road. Susan Savastuk will speak on diabetes, and refreshments will be served. All retired registered nurses are welcome.

ST. CHRISTINE

XSt. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Gutman Hall with Harriet Moschella presiding. Jean Ann Beachly and Mary Jo Theis will give reports, and dues will be collected. Pizza will be served, bingo and cards will be played, and there will be a door prize and a 50-50 drawing. New members are welcome.

STS. PETER AND PAUL

XSts. Peter and Paul Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center for a Christmas party. Millie Kenney will preside, and there will be food, cards and bingo.

SILVER AND GOLD

XThis month's meeting of Silver and Gold Club planned for Tuesday has been canceled.

TEAMSTERS 377

XRetirees of Teamsters 377 will meet at noon Thursday at the union hall in Youngstown. Refreshments will be served. All retirees and spouses are invited.

XUpcoming activities for senior citizens organizations are published Sundays. Please submit information to the Society Department by noon Thursday.
