New Lisbon Lodge has award presentations
LISBON -- New Lisbon Lodge 65 F & amp;AM held a stated meeting and awards night Jan. 4 at the Lisbon Masonic Temple.
Worshipful master John P. Klein presided for the presentation of 25-year pins to 14 members.
Recognized for 50-year memberships were Keith McKinney, George Riggle and William Stanley; for 60 years, Maurice Armstrong and David Edgerton; and for 65 years, George Ball. They received pins and certificates from right worshipful brother Glenn Shaffer, district deputy grand master of the 24th Masonic district, representing most worship brother Jim Deyo, grand master of Masons of Ohio.
Worshipful brothers William Stanley and Don Butream were given special recognition as Masons of the Year for 2004 for their exceptional service, and Iva Chapter 311, Order of the Eastern Star, received a certificate of appreciation for its support of lodge activities.
James P. Woodward received the Youth Leadership Award for his recent achievement of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
A reception followed in the dining hall.
The next meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8. The lodge is also sponsoring a chuck wagon dinner from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 6 at the temple. Cost is $8, and the public is invited.
