The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for its annual leadership program, five sessions designed to teach leadership skills and help participants learn more about the local community.
In the 15 years the chamber has conducted the program, more than 300 people have completed the course, many of them executives in their organizations who serve on various boards that do community work.
The first session is Feb. 15 and will be led by well-known corporate trainer Jeff Tobe, who will present his trademarked "Coloring Outside the Lines" program.
The next three sessions -- Feb. 22, March 8 and March 22 -- will cover economic development, government, social services and education.
The final session on March 29 features a trip to the Challenger Learning Center at Wheeling Jesuit University.
