Other projects for the year that were aimed at helping children included co-sponsoring a seminar at Youngstown State University, tutoring students in an after-school program at Victory Lutheran Church, providing school supplies to a number of elementary students in Youngstown City School District, participating in the Light Up a Life Celebration at Tod Children's Hospital and adopting a music class at Hayes Middle School to introduce students to classical music.
