Kennedy Catholic grad John Reimold led Bowling Green past Northern Illinois.
ATHENS -- Leon Williams scored 16 points to lead five players in double figures and Ohio never trailed in beating Marshall 77-68 on Sunday.
Williams scored 10 of his 16 points in the first half and Jeff Halbert hit two 3-pointers during a 9-0 run as the Bobcats (6-5, 1-2 Mid-American) took a 13-4 lead.
Marshall (2-10, 0-4) closed to within 39-36 on a 3-pointer by Joe Miles early in the second half, but Ohio responded with a 10-2 run.
Sonny Troutman had 14 points for Ohio and Mychal Green, Jeremy Fears and Halbert finished with 13 points apiece.
Williams also had seven rebounds.

BOWLING GREEN -- John Reimold, a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School, and Josh Almanson scored 21 points each to lead Bowling Green.
Reimold was 5-of-7 from beyond the 3-point arc. Steven Wright scored 11 points and Mawel Soler added 10 for the Falcons (9-2, 3-0 Mid-American), who never trailed after a game-opening 20-9 run.
Todd Peterson was 4-of-6 from 3-point range and finished with 19 points for Northern Illinois (5-7, 1-3). James Hughes came off the bench to add 18 points.
Buffalo 56, Toledo 54
AMHERST, N.Y. -- Mario Jordan had 14 points and Turner Battle added 11 more to help lift Buffalo.
The Bulls (9-3, 2-2 Mid-American Conference) defeated the Rockets for the first time in nine tries, and have won six of their last seven games overall.
Toledo (5-7, 1-2) had a chance to tie, but missed on four opportunities from the field over the final 14 seconds, including Allen Pinson's 5-footer with three seconds to go.
