XBOARDMAN -- Jaime Welling, daughter of Nancy Welling, both of 5096 Grasshopper Lane, Columbus, and the late Terry Welling, became the bride of Anthony Schiavone, 2249 Swansea Road, Columbus, son of Deborah and Daniel Schiavone, 1309 Valley View Drive, on Dec. 4 at St. Charles Church.
The Rev. Daniel Venglarik officiated for the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
The couple were honored during a reception afterward at Leo's Ristorante in Howland, then left on a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
The bride, who wore a strapless gown of ivory satin, was escorted by her brother, Scott Welling.
She was attended by her sister, Darcy Mallon, as maid of honor and the bridesmaids, Lindsey McGuffey; Dana Goldberg and Jennifer Schiavone, sisters of the groom; Colleen Mongillo; and Beth Gottung. They wore garnet gowns. Alexis DeMain and Shannon Reardon were flower girls.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Daniel Schiavone Jr. Groomsmen were Kevin Lohman, Frank DeMain, Greg Regan, Frank Licata and Ray Ballotta, and ushers were Rob Venrose and Pat Christopher.
The couple are living in Columbus, where they are employed by Crowe Chezek and Co., she as a consultant and he as a certified public accountant. The bride is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., with a degree in financial planning and counseling, and the groom earned his degree in accounting at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind.
