A winter place to walk
CORTLAND -- The Lakeview Local School District will begin its Project Warm Walk on Monday at the high school.
The school will be open from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for people in the community to walk indoors during inclement winter weather.
Walkers must be over 18 and sign in the first time they walk at the school.
The program will conclude April 7.

Civil War meeting set
MERCER, Pa. -- The public is invited when the Mercer Historical Society presents its monthly Civil War Roundtable on Tuesday at the Society's headquarters, 119 South Pitt St.
The roundtable will examine the Union loss at Chickamauga. There will be a video presentation and a discussion.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; the program starts at 7, and should end around 9.

Computer class offered
LIBERTY -- A free introductory computer class will be held at W.S. Guy Middle School beginning Thursday.
The six-week class goes from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each Thursday.
Topics will include the basics of using Windows, and how to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
