ROUNDUP Brookfield downs Newton Falls, 66-37

Liberty picked up its first TAC win of the season over visiting Hubbard, 46-38.
BROOKFIELD -- Freshman Morgan Bonekovic had team-highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds, leading Brookfield High to a 66-37 victory Thursday night over Newton Falls in a girls Trumbull Athletic Conference basketball game.
Jacki Rust finished with 13 points and five assists for the Warriors (8-3, 4-1 TAC), while Rachel Pasquerilla scored 12 points.
Brookfield jumped out to a 19-9 lead after the first quarter and led 37-17 at halftime.
Newton Falls (1-8, 1-4) was led by Molly Lenarcic, who scored 14 points.
Liberty 46, Hubbard 38
LIBERTY -- Ashley White scored 21 points to lead Liberty to its first TAC win of the season.
Michelle Dykes added 12 points for the Leopards (5-6, 1-4 TAC), who led 23-10 after the first quarter.
Hubbard (2-8, 1-4) was led by Callie Oyler, who scored 19 points.
Lakeview 67, LaBrae 39
CORTLAND -- Lauren McCumber scored a game-high 14 points for Lakeview in the TAC game.
Lakeview (7-4, 3-2 TAC) held a 51-38 edge in rebounding and outscored LaBrae 38-14 in the second half.
Chelsea Butler had 11 points, Christina Martin scored 10, Alynn Martin had 11 boards and Brittney Morello recorded five assists for the Bulldogs.
Maddie D'Orio's 12-point effort led LaBrae (6-5, 1-4).
Badger 44, Lordstown 20
KINSMAN -- Host Badger took control with a 16-2 run in the third quarter. Samantha Bonar led the Braves with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Tessa Bonar added eight rebounds and Rachel Gaines swiped six steals for Badger (6-5, 4-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference).
Devon Davis and Meagan Gibson tallied six points each for Lordstown (1-9, 1-4).
Mathews 78, Bloomfield 24
VIENNA -- Tara Ford led Mathews with 24 points in the NAC game.
Melanie Roscoe added 11 points and paced the Mustangs (9-1) with 14 rebounds. Melanie Morrison had 10 assists, while Sarah King and Meredith Wearsch had five steals apiece.
Amanda Artman and Nicole Kovalak scored eight points each for Bloomfield (1-7).
Columbiana 58, Lisbon 30
COLUMBIANA -- The Clippers pulled away with a 20-2 third-quarter spurt to remain undefeated in the Tri-County League.
Lisa Simon and Whitney Goist led Columbiana (11-2, 7-0 TCL) with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Jackie Hatherill grabbed eight rebounds, Goist and Krista Johnson dished out seven assists apiece, and Johnson added seven steals.
Erica Sims paced Lisbon (7-4, 4-3) with 10 points and seven boards.
Sebring 58, Southern 20
