Of the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii, lamenting the Indian Ocean's lack of tide gauges and other instruments that can help scientists detect tsunamis.

"I never, ever would have imagined the opportunity to be literally standing here a year later and say yet again, we're back and we're still on Mars."

In a press conference celebrating the one-year anniversary of the landing of Mars rover Spirit, and Opportunity, which landed three weeks later. Both are still functioning long past the expected three months.
