GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP Boardman rallies down from six to win as Melquist pumps in 24

BOARDMAN -- April Melquist scored 24 points, including 10 in the second quarter, as Boardman took control in the first half and went on to a 68-38 victory over Blackhawk on Tuesday night.
The Spartans trailed 13-7 at the end of the first quarter, but outscored the Cougars 25-6 in the second.
Jessica Moore added 13 points for Boardman.
Chesia Feltrop led Blackhawk with 12 points and Renee Rawding added 10.
Canton Heritage 47,Youngstown Christian 39
YOUNGSTOWN -- Kara Cooper scored 10 points and added seven steals to lead Youngstown Christian.
Kara Pecchia had six steals for the Eagles (3-6).
Brittany Pizor scored 12 points and Fe Williams added 11 for Canton Heritage (6-2).
Chaney 40, Wilson 30
YOUNGSTOWN -- Courtney Williams, a 5-foot-8 senior, scored 11 of her game-high 17 points in the third quarter for Chaney (6-4, 1-1 City Series).
Williams also grabbed 11 rebounds.
Sharaayla Hudson led Wilson (2-9, 0-3), with eight points.
