STRUTHERS -- Amanda Nero scored 30 points, leading Lowellville High to a 62-27 victory over Struthers in a non-conference girls basketball game on Monday.
The Rockets (8-0) led 16-2 at the end of the first quarter and 40-12 at halftime.
Liz Valerio scored 14 points to lead Struthers (2-7).
Rayen 84, Beaver Local 55
YOUNGSTOWN -- Taniesha Holland had a fine all-around game for Rayen.
The senior had 34 points, 10 steals, seven assists and five rebounds.
Kenysha Tennant finished with 15 points, four rebounds, three steals and four assists for the Tigers (8-1). Brittany Taylor had 15 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two assists, and Danielle Liggins had 10 points, 12 rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots for Rayen.
Mallory Yasko led Beaver Local (3-8) with 22 points and nine rebounds, and Samantha Mobley added 14 points.
McDonald 53, Western Reserve 33
BERLIN CENTER -- Ashleigh Tondo scored 21 points and Ashshena Stephens added 10 for McDonald (7-3, 3-0 Inter-County League).
McKenzie Mowry led Western Reserve with eight points.
South Range 61, Jackson-Milton 40
NORTH LIMA -- Heather Stacy scored 12 points, and Michelle Pingley finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds, to lead South Range (5-7, 2-2 ICL).
Pingley also had four assists for the Raiders, and Kalyn Lean had five steals.
Elizabeth Hughes paced Jackson-Milton (5-6) with 13 points.
Springfield 57, Mineral Ridge 24
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Mindy Ritzler scored 11 points to lead a balanced Springfield (6-3, 3-1 ICL) attack.
Lindsay Johnson added 10 points for the Tigers, and Samantha Cavalier finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Angelina Fiumara had three steals.
Abbey Keiger led Mineral Ridge (2-9, 0-4) with 10 points and six rebounds.
North Canton 90, Canfield 54
NORTH CANTON -- Michelle Popovec scored 13 points and Bryanne Halfhill added 10 for the Cardinals (6-4), who trailed 31-12 after the first quarter.
Stow 65, Warren Harding 38
STOW -- Desirae Jenkins scored 20 points for the Raiders (3-6), who trailed 30-17 at halftime.
Jenkins also had three steals and three assists for Warren Harding, while Kacie Woodling had eight rebounds.
