XGIRARD -- Emily Louise Kunkel, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William T. Kunkel Jr., all of 749 Pennsylvania Ave., McDonald, became the bride of Joseph M. Cappuzzello, 7014 Callaway Circle, Austintown, son of Ruth and Joseph Cappuzzello, 2584 Walnut St., during a 2 p.m. ceremony Nov. 27 at St. Rose Church performed by the Rev. Peter Haladej.
After a reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown, the couple left on a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
The bride's ivory gown was designed with cap sleeves and trimmed with crystals.
Maid of honor Kimberly Fularz wore a cinnamon-colored gown, as did the bridesmaids, Lauren Johnson; Tiffany Wishak; Devona Marshall and Natalie Cappuzzello, the groom's sisters; Melissa Shumaker; Devin Walsh; and Erin Borecki, the bride's cousin. Sara Santisi and his niece, Caroline Marshall, were flower girls.
Brian Rafferty was best man, and groomsmen were Nicholas and Jason Cappuzzello, brothers of the groom; William Kunkel, the bride's brother; Thomas Strain; Jason Johnson; Kevin McCann and David Stonestreet, her cousin. Ring bearers were Patrick Kunkel, her cousin, and David Santisi.
The couple live in Austintown. The bride, a mental-health associate with Forum Health, Youngstown, received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Ohio State University in Columbus. The groom, assistant manager for Hughes Supply Inc., Kent, graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., with a bachelor's in economics.
