YOUNGSTOWN -- A benefit Casino Nite is planned for Saturday to help C.H.A.I.N. provide spaying and neutering services for needy pet owners in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the OCCHA Hall, 3660 Shirley Road, and will include blackjack, poker, chuck-a-luck, 50-50 raffle and a Chinese auction.

Admission is $3 and includes snacks and coffee. Food and a full bar also will be available.

Proceeds will go to C.H.A.I.N. (Community Helping Animals In Need), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping control pet overpopulation. Since its inception in 1995, C.H.A.I.N. has spayed and neutered more than 7,040 cats and dogs.

For more information, call Sheryl Goodrich at (330) 758-7710.
