WACO, Texas -- Steffanie Blackmon had a career-high 31 points and 11 rebounds to lead seventh-ranked Baylor. The victory gave Baylor (20-3, 10-2 Big 12) 20 wins for the fifth consecutive season under coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson.

No. 8 North Carolina 78, Wake Forest 69

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Nikita Bell had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Erlana Larkins added 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead North Carolina. Ivory Latta added 19 points for the Tar Heels (21-3, 9-2 ACC), who won their seventh consecutive game and remained a game behind Duke in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

No. 10 Rutgers 64, Syracuse 54

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Cappie Pondexter scored seven consecutive points in the last three minutes to break open a close game and finished with 25 points, helping No. 10 Rutgers hold off Syracuse. It was the fourth consecutive victory for Rutgers (19-5, 10-2 Big East) and the fifth consecutive loss for Syracuse (11-13, 3-10).

No. 11 Connecticut 67, Georgetown 49

WASHINGTON -- Ann Strother scored 20 points, and No. 11 Connecticut overcame a second consecutive sloppy first half. The victory was UConn's 18th in a row against the Hoyas (9-14, 4-8 Big East) and kept the Huskies (17-6, 10-2) within a half- game of first-place Notre Dame.

No. 13 Texas 64, No. 18 Kansas State 60

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Jamie Carey scored 21 points and Texas withstood a late rally to beat Kansas State. Heather Schreiber added 14 points for the Longhorns (16-7, 9-3 Big 12).

No. 15 Texas Tech 66, Kansas 53

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- LaToya Davis had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead Texas Tech over Kansas. Alesha Roberts scored 12 points and Cisti Greenwalt added 10 points and eight rebounds for Texas Tech (18-5, 9-3 Big 12).

No. 19 Iowa St. 90, Oklahoma St. 65

AMES, Iowa -- Mary Fox scored a career-high 28 points, and Katie Robinette added 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead Iowa State. Anne O'Neil had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Cyclones (19-4, 9-3 Big 12).
