Christian rock concert
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- If you're looking for some righteous rock 'n' rap, check out the Audio Adrenaline/Toby Mac tour, coming to Grove City Arena at 7:30 p.m. April 10.
The co-headliners will be supported by Kutless and Hawk Nelson.
Audio Adrenaline's latest, "Worldwide," is a hook-laden rock confection, plenty loud for those who like that and reflective for those who want some thought with their rock.
Toby Mac offers a clever rap concoction on his second disk, "The Diverse City." In one cut, he pulls a cute stunt by making the bass sound like a boom car with a vibrating subwoofer.
The acts are well-known in Christian music circles, but their CDs cross over into the meanstream because of their sound.
Tickets are $20 advance, $25 at the door. Call (724) 458-2460.
KENT -- Kent Trumbull Theatre will have its fourth annual high school internship in technical theater. Training will include scenery, scene painting, properties, lighting, sound and costuming. Interns work 15 hours per week for eight weeks and crew a show. At the end of the summer, successful interns are paid $500. Call Dr. Daniel Nadon, (330) 847-8700.
