TODAY

XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners, $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni, $5; homemade stuffed cabbage, $5.95; and pork chop dinners, $7.95. Sandwiches for $2.50 and a children's menu will be available. For carryouts call (330) 550-6268.

XSaxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will have a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children. Carryouts will be available.

THURSDAY

XAn all-you-can-eat pasta dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. at Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, in the St. Nicholas meeting room. Cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children under 12, and takeouts will be available. Call (330) 782-6388 for information.

XThe Croatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners feature your choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli.

XBazetta Christian Church, 4131 Bazetta Road, Cortland, will serve fish dinners from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals are $7 for adults, $4.50 for children 4 to 12 and free to those 3 and under. For information call (330) 637-6312.

No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.

XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi, hot pirogi lunches and homemade cake doughnuts. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $4 for a dozen pirogi.

XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. Carryouts will be available. For information call (330) 534-9775.

XPotato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order call (330) 799-0084 from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Cost is $4 per dozen. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

XFish dinners will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parish center at St. James Church, Route 422 West, New Bedford, Pa. Meals are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Takeouts will be available. For information call (724) 964-8276.

XSt. John Greek Orthodox Church, 4955 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, will hold a Grecian Lenten seafood fest from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Fried, baked or Greek plaki fish dinners, seafood pastitsio, shrimp souvlaki, calamari, smelts and mussels will be available, along with Greek side dishes and desserts. Takeouts will be available.

XPotato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.

XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will sell sweet cabbage or potato pirogi for walk-in sales from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. The church will also sponsor a family fish fry from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the center. Price is $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Takeouts will be available. There will be a 50-50 drawing.

XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday.

XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders are taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 1 Friday, based upon availability. The cost is $3.50 a dozen potato and kraut and $4 for cottage cheese. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

XSts. Mary and Joseph School will hold a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Social Hall, 120 Maple Drive, Newton Falls. Tickets are $7 with two sides for adults and $4 with one side for children. Extra sides are $1.50. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., carryouts will be available and fish sandwiches will be sold with one side for $4. For information, call (330) 872-1828.

SATURDAY

XBethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Youngstown, will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children, and can be purchased at the door or by calling the church office at (330) 758-5745. Carryouts will be available.

XA spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road, Boardman. Meals are $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under, and takeouts will be available.

XGood Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, will serve a beef tips and noodles dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $6.50; children 4 to 12, $3; and 3 and under, free.

XA pancake and sausage breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. at New Bedford Presbyterian Church, 225 Marr Road, New Bedford, Pa. Cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under.

XA spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Salem Masonic Building, 788 E. State St. Tickets are $5.

SUNDAY

XCapt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 may eat for free. Carryouts also will be available; containers can be purchased or patrons may provide their own.

XFowler Volunteer Fire Department will hold its monthly breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Prices are $5 for adults, $3.50 for senior citizens and children 6 to 12 and free for preschoolers.

XHungarian Presbyterian Church, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, will hold a winter festival and chicken paprikash dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children, and there will also be a bake sale and basket raffle. XSt. Paul Altar Guild's annual spaghetti dinner will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at St. Paul Hall, Route 170, New Middletown. Adult tickets are $6 and children 6 to 12 are $3; those 5 and under are free. Carryouts are available.

XA roast beef dinner will be served from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Cost is $7.50; takeouts will be available.

XThe Mission Committee of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave., Warren, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 12 and free for those 3 and under. Tickets will be available at the door.

XAuxiliary members of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. Meals are $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12.

TUESDAY

XBoar's Head Ladies of St. John's Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 23 at the church. Cost is $6, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. For takeout orders call (330) 743-3175.

XCanfield Christian Church, corner of Broad and Maple streets, will be serving a Lenten breakfast every Wednesday during Lent from 6 to 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Donations will be accepted.

TAKING ORDERS

XRockview Christian Church, formerly American Hungarian Reformed Church, 925 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, is taking orders until March 6 for smoked kolbasz and fresh sausage for Easter. Cost is $3 a pound (no one-pound packages), and pickup will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 12 at the church fellowship hall. XSenior UOL of Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Church will be accepting orders until Feb. 28 for stuffed cabbage by the dozen. The cost is $11, and patrons are asked to provide their own containers. Haluski also will be sold for $3 per quart. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 5 at the Ukrainian Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. XYoungstown American Hungarian Club is taking carryout orders for stuffed cabbage at (330) 799-8111 until Feb. 26. Cost is $10 a dozen, and pickup will be from noon to 2 p.m. March 5 at the clubhouse at 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown. Patrons may provide their own container or purchase one for 50 cents.
