BASEBALL

Warren McKinley Baseball and Softball will host winter clinics for 6- to 12-year-old baseball players and 7- to 14-year-old girl softball players at East Middle School, 1470 South Street SE. The 6- to 8-year-olds baseball clinic will be held at 5:30 and 7 p.m. on Feb. 14, 16, 23, 25. The 9- to 12-year-old girls softball clinic will be held Feb. 19. Times are 1-3 p.m. for 7- to 10-year-olds and 3-5 p.m. for 11- to 14-year-olds. All clinics cost $25. Register online at www.warrenmckinleybaseball.com or call (330) 392-0501.

Howland Athletic Club will hold registration for baseball and softball on Feb. 17 (6:30-8:30 p.m.), Feb. 19 (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), Feb. 23 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) and Feb. 26 (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) for children ages 5 and older. The McDonald Baseball Association will hold registration in the senior citizens building, located at the corner of Ohio Ave. and Fifth Street on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 2-5 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 26 from 2-5 p.m.; and Saturday, March 5, from noon-3 p.m.

Vienna Athletic Club will hold registration for summer baseball and softball for boys and girls age 6-17 on Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vienna Fire Station. For information, call Roseann Kennedy at (330) 394-2188.

Struthers Baseball League signups for the 2005 season will be held Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 from 1-5 p.m. at St. Nicholas Church Basement Hall. Baseball Factory will offer a Video Scouting Session for top 2005-07 graduates at the indoor facility at the University of Akron on Feb. 19. BASKETBALL

SOFTBALL

Mount Union College softball team will host a hitting clinic on Feb. 13 from 1-4 p.m. and a pitcher/catcher and fielding clinic Feb. 20 from 1-4 p.m. inside the Timken Physical Education Building. Salem Parks Department will conduct softball meetings for participation in summer leagues. All returning teams and new teams should send a representative. Men's slow-pitch will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. Women's slow-pitch will meet Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. Both meetings are in the Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State Street.
