A summary of crime activity in Canfield city and Austintown Township:

CANFIELD

Feb. 2:

Rape: A 17-year-old woman was hospitalized at St. Elizabeth Health Center after reporting she had been sexually assaulted by a male friend at a residence on Blueberry Hill Drive.

Feb. 3

Drug paraphernalia: A 17-year-old Canfield male was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse. Police found a multi-colored pipe with suspected marijuana residue on it and two suspected marijuana cigarette roaches.

Feb. 4

Drug Abuse/paraphernalia: Police found a silver and black pipe with suspected marijuana residue and a plastic bag with 3 grams of suspected marijuana, a clear plastic bottle with liquid and a small container with white powder taped to the side of his vehicle with black tape. The automobile was stopped at Broad and Kirk streets, and the 32-year-old Boardman man driving it was arrested. He told police the powder was "minute man," used to hide drugs during a urine test.
