DISTRICT Faison scores 28 to lift Chaney

Rayen won by 22 and Mooney topped Jefferson for its sixth straight victory.
CAMPBELL -- Quaina Faison poured in 28 points to lead Chaney High past Campbell Memorial, 60-43, in a non-league game on Monday night.
Tieara Jones added 11 points for the Cowgirls (8-10), who led 26-13 at halftime. Faison had 12 rebounds and Jones had 11, and Courtney Williams had nine assists.
Campbell (3-15) was led by Sophia Brown, with 14 points, and Maria Rohan, with 12.
Rayen 80,Akron Central-Hower 58
YOUNGSTOWN -- Rayen (16-3) had four players in double figures, including 31 from Taniesha Holland, in non-conference win. Holland also had nine assists and seven steals.
Kenysha Tennant added 16, while Brittany Taylor and Rilonda Neal scored 15 and 10, respectively, for Rayen.
Central-Hower (11-8) was led by Dianca Gordan's 20 points.
Mooney 41, Jefferson 38
YOUNGSTOWN -- Amber Bodrick scored 17 points and had eight rebounds for Mooney (11-6).
Gina Brunetti added 12 points and Kaci Kubik handed out five assists for the Cardinals, who have won six straight.
Hayley Kapferer scored 16 points for Jefferson (16-3).
Perry 42, Fitch 29
CANTON -- Perry out-scored the Falcons in every quarter to prevail in the seventh-place game of the Federal League tournament.
Fitch is 8-11, while Perry slipped to 6-14. No other details were provided.
Howland 69, Struthers 33
WARREN -- Howland got three players in double figures to drop Struthers in a Metro Athletic Conference game.
Carolyn Hanshaw had 19 to lead Howland (14-5, 8-4), while Alexa Williams added 11 and Carly Sabat 10. Williams also had 12 of Howland's 42 rebounds in the game.
Liz Valerio led Struthers (5-14, 4-8) with nine points.
Poland 37, Niles 36
POLAND -- Erin Hawkins led the Bulldogs with 13 points, and she dropped in the winning basket at the buzzer.
Dee Muransky added 11 points for the Bulldogs (6-12, 5-7 MAC).
Stephanie Parish scored eight points for Niles (3-16, 2-10).
McDonald 64, Jackson-Milton 50
NORTH JACKSON -- McDonald opened a 20-9 lead in the first quarter of the Inter-County League game.
Ashleigh Tondo scored 23 points for the Blue Devils (11-7, 7-4), while Emily Dolsak added 12 and Amy Dolsak scored 10.
Jackson-Milton (7-12, 2-9) was led by Jill Adams and Kay Bruff, with 12 points each, and Carrie Fiol, with 11.
Lowellville 74, Mineral Ridge 36
LOWELLVILLE -- The Rockets (16-3, 11-0) jumped out to a 27-5 lead in the first quarter and clinched the ICL title outright.
Sara Porter scored 17 points and had seven rebounds for Lowellville, while Amanda Nero added 16 points. Kaitlin McCarthy scored 12.
Rachel Filar finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Rams (3-16, 0-11).
Springfield 63, W. Reserve 46
BERLIN CENTER -- Lindsay Johnson had 20 points and four steals for Springfield (15-4, 10-2 ICL).
Samantha Cavalier added 10 points for the Tigers and Whitney Yeager had nine rebounds.
Western Reserve (5-14, 4-7) was led by Lainey Kekic, with 20 points and six rebounds, and Saleena Niehaus, with 16 points and seven steals.
United 58, Crestview 50
NEW WATERFORD -- United (12-8, 8-6 Tri-County League) got 18 points from Ashley Bergman and 11 from Katy Miller.
Crestview (11-9, 9-5) had balanced scoring with Brianne Phillis leading the way with nine points. Nine players scored for Crestview.
