Emergency workers tend to a motorist, above, involved in a crash with a Youngstown Police patrol car at the intersection of Lansdowne Boulevard and McGuffey Road. The police officer was involved in a chase Sunday afternoon that originated in Pulaski Township, Pa. The three police officers at right await the arrival of a tow truck. Rural Metro emergency medical technicians and other authorities, below right, work to remove the unidentified officer from his patrol. Below, the officer is wheeled toward an ambulance by Rural Metro emergency medical technicians and a Youngstown firefighter. B3
