AARP 3104

XCanfield Chapter 3104, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at 1 p.m. at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will be conducted from noon until the meeting begins. The program will be presented by Paul Rossi and friends. Dues of $6 will be collected; proof of national membership is required. The next directors meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 28 at the church.

The following tours are planned: March 16, Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh and Disney on Ice with dinner included at Station Square, deposit of $30 is required, and deadline for final payment is Monday; and April 19, dinner at AngeNetta's Cafe in Canfield and a play, "Crazy For You," at Powers Auditorium, a deposit is required, a few tickets are still available. AARP 3105

XHarold Milligan will preside when Struthers Chapter 3105, AARP, meets at 11 a.m. Feb. 16 at The Embassy. Reservations for lunch are $9 and should be sent to LaVerne Cox, 241 E. Manor Ave., Struthers, Ohio 44471, by Wednesday. Membership dues of $3 are due. Nonperishable food items are being accepted for the food pantry. New members are welcome.

GIRARD

XGirard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. After the business meeting, bingo will be played and cake and ice cream will be served to celebrate February birthdays. The valentine lunch originally planned for this meeting has been changed to Feb. 23. Cost is $2; call Betty Hosterman at (330) 539-5613 for reservations.

GOLDEN PILLARS

XAn 11:30 a.m. Lenten moliven will precede Tuesday's monthly meeting of the Golden Pillars at noon at St. Mary Assumption Social Center. Eleanor Hnat will preside. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and bingo and cards will be played. Members should take their table service.

J.C. PENNEY

XJ.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nancy's Restaurant, Shady Run Road.

LIBERTY

XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall at Church Hill United Methodist Church with Naomi Tremba presiding. Hosts will be Cora Fetters, Rosemary Demi, and Ralph and Rebecca McCauley. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided. There will be a guest speaker after lunch. Guests are welcome.

LOCAL 64

XLocal 64 Retirees will meet at noon Wednesday at Lucianno's, Raccoon Road, Austintown.

LOCAL 880

XUFCW Local 880 Retirees Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lucianno's, 1732 Raccoon Road, Austintown. Plans for the annual St. Patrick's Day party and other holiday meetings will be made. Guests are welcome.

MAHONING BANK

XMahoning Bank Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnny's on Midlothian Boulevard.

MARTHA LUPSE

XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Robert Ferrara will lead devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. MOUNT CARMEL

XOur Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday following the noon Mass. Josephine McMillen will preside, and reports will be given by Caroline McCaffrey, Angie DelFlore and Louise Babbaro. Lunch will be served, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. There also will be a 50-50 drawing and bingo. Guests are welcome.

RETIRED POLICEMEN, FIREMENAND WIDOWS

XA regular meeting of the Retired Policemen, Firemen and Widows will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the clubrooms of Brandywine Apartments. There will be a speaker.

ST. ANTHONY

XSt. Anthony Senior Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the school cafeteria. The speaker will be Judy Seiber of Mahoning County Senior Center. The luncheon committee consists of Steve and Marian DeGenero and John and Mary Ann Julian. Sam Lavanty and Steve Sebastian will handle the raffles, and cards and games will be played afterward.

The club's 20th anniversary will be celebrated at a luncheon at noon March 8 at St. Mark's Hall on Logan Avenue. The price is $12 per person. Reservations are due March 2. They can be made with payment to Dorothy Valley at the meeting, or call Jenny Marinelli at (330) 759-1424 after Feb. 13. Reservations will be taken until March 2, the cut off date.

The day trip to Seneca Allegheny on Monday is sold out with a waiting list. For information call Tony Valley at (330) 759-1333.

ST. CHARLES

XSt. Charles Over 55 will meet at noon Tuesday in the church social hall for a brief meeting conducted by Carolyn Valensi. Reports will be given by Mary Vergalitte and Rena Nuzzie, and Rita McKeown will lead devotions. The hospitality committee will serve refreshments, and board games, cards and a 50-50 drawing will follow. Birthdays will be observed. For information call (330) 726-2375.

ST. CHRISTINE

XA meeting of St. Christine Senior Citizens will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Gutman Hall with Harriet Moschella presiding. Jeanne Beackly and Mary Jo Theis will give reports. Lunch will be served, and hostesses will be Verna Dues, Rosemary Cervone, Carmel Perrico and Ann Banyots. Dues will be collected, bingo and cards will be played, and there will be door prizes, a 50-50 drawing and a birthday drawing. New members are welcome.

ST. CYRIL

XSt. Cyril Seniors will meet after the 11 a.m. Mass Thursday. A catered luncheon will be served at noon in the church hall. Reservations must be made by Monday. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and there will be a raffle and bingo.

ST. JOSEPH

XSt. Joseph Goldenagers of Austintown will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall with Evelyn Menaldi presiding. Cards and bingo will be played, and there will be a 50-50 drawing. Members are asked to pay their $5 dues. Mary Ciarniello, Verna Dues, Catherine Dyer and Barbara Fleming are baking cakes for the month. Get-well cards are being sent to members by Dorothy Myers, sunshine chairman.

ST. ROSE

XSt. Rose Senior Parishioners will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the church hall. Officers and trustees will meet at 11:30 a.m. Valentine's Day will be celebrated with cake and music by Jim Oliver. Theresa Cortell and Rose Ragan will serve on the kitchen committee. Dues are payable this month and should be paid at the meeting or mailed to treasurer Jo E. Carson, 1027 Beechwood Drive, Girard, 44420.

SAXON

XSaxon Retirees will meet at noon Thursday at the club ballroom on Meridian Road. Cost of the baked chicken dinner is $7, and reservations or cancellations are due this evening by calling Gert Galich at (330) 792-9085, Helen Bendel at (330) 792-4817 or Tillie Stefanick at (330) 792-3120.

SEARS MEN

XSears Men Retirees will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Yankee Kitchen in Boardman.

WEST SIDE

XBingo will be played when West Side Seniors meet at noon Tuesday at the Sam Camens Center. New members are welcome.
