4 citations are issuedat Casaloma Gardensfor alcohol possession
YOUNGSTOWN -- Responding to numerous complaints about underage sales, members of the city police vice squad entered Casaloma Gardens, 2843 Mahoning Ave., and issued four citations Friday night.
Cited were Jesse Riggleman, 19, of Spring Street, Hubbard; Michael Pero, 19, of North Schenley Avenue; Britney Geer, 19, of Oak Street, Canfield; and Brandon Boyles, 20, of Stoney Brook Drive, Liberty.
All are charged with underage possession of an alcoholic beverage, beer. All are due in municipal court Monday for arraignment.
Street Crimes Unit makes2 arrests after raidingunrented apartment
YOUNGSTOWN -- An unrented apartment at 510 Kendis Circle (Apt. A) was raided Friday by members of the Street Crimes Unit, who were told the place was being used for drug and gun sales.
Wiley T. Lundy, 23, of West Judson Avenue was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, illegal possession of a weapon (based on a prior conviction), possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (scale) and criminal trespass.
Cedrick V. Phillips, 20, of Charlotte, N.C., was charged with criminal trespass.
From Lundy, who was found in a bedroom, police confiscated suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine, $1,623, a loaded .40-caliber pistol and a digital scale.
In another bedroom, police confiscated a loaded .38-caliber revolver, a loaded 20-gauge shotgun and suspected crack cocaine.
Ammunition stored throughout the apartment also was seized.
